Following is the edited text from a conversation with my sister helping her set up RSS feeds for our family blogs. Maybe it will help you.

Jethro the santa (hes not real!) claus says (1:32 AM):

do u have a Gmail account?

u have blogger so I guess you do actually

go to http://www.google.com/reader/view/

login there

in Firefox when you go to a website with an rss feed you can click on it and it will give you the option to add to Google reader automatically

u may need to set it up in the options in Firefox

go to tools and options

then feeds

choose the default application for reader

I use Google reader

yahoo is just as good

means they can be read anywhere - not tied to a computer

just need to login

Rufus says (1:35 AM):

tools

options

feeds

then what?

Jethro the santa (hes not real!) claus says (1:35 AM):

choose application

Rufus says (1:35 AM):

which do I choose?

Jethro the santa (hes not real!) claus says (1:36 AM):

either Google or yahoo

doesn’t matter

Jethro the santa (hes not real!) claus says (1:36 AM):

I’d suggest Google if you can’t make up your mind

click on Google and hit ok

now go to www.jonomiller.com

Jethro the santa (hes not real!) claus says (1:36 AM):

and click the link again - there’s only one there now

Rufus says (1:37 AM):

do I add to Google homepage or reader??

Jethro the santa (hes not real!) claus says (1:37 AM):

reader

Rufus says (1:38 AM):

cool that it...??

Jethro the santa (hes not real!) claus says (1:38 AM):

you can then add them to a folder if you like - or you can do that later - up to you

Rufus says (1:38 AM):

how I access this?

Jethro the santa (hes not real!) claus says (1:38 AM):

then a couple of configuration things to make life easier

you just go to reader.google.com and login

then click on all items

under the green bar where it says add subscription, there’s a shoe updated - all option

make sure you select updated

that hides the ones you have read already

cool eh

that easy
