Euro 2008 second half Russia v Spain

The Russians must have had a spray from the coach at half time because they came out a different looking side. They took the attack to Spain right from the kick off. This opened the play up somewhat and both sides

had opportunities but with no result in the first 15 minutes. The Spanish forwards are carving up the Russian backline. As a result every time Russia get control now they slow the game down. Spain keep sending through balls in. The last one I just saw cam flying down the field and the keeper actually cam outside the box sliding in to clear it away from under the attackers feet.

Another goal for Spain and a hat trick now for David Villa on his debut for Spain. The through ball was an incisive pass across the lagging defence to Villa who jinked around his man and then dodged the rushing in other backs and put it over the keeper in the 75th minute.

Euro 2008 first half Russia v Spain

The boys & I have been making a night of it.After I got home from football training, Judith, Jamie, Michael & I played a game of Munchkins. Following that it was onto the Playstation for FIFA 2007.After helping AC Milan beat Inter & then lose to Chelsea we got ready to watch a game of Euro 2008.

euro2008_logo This game is being played in Innsbruck in Austria & is between Russia & Spain.

Spain kicked off and got off to a slow start but after applying pressure for  15 minutes or so scored about 20 minutes in. Russia came straight back & only the post saved Spain. The next 5 minutes Spain just knocked it around the each other while Russia kept a tight defence. The next 20 minutes were more the same. Very unexciting football, though Russia had a chance at 38 minutes but was narrowly offside.

with 1 minute to go Spain scored again will an awesome through ball and go to the halftime break with good lead.

Finished Site Upgrade

Its done!

This site has been upgraded to version 6.2 of Drupal, and the theme has been changed. Nearly the same as before – just a little less cluttered and cleaner looking I hope.Feedback is always good!

drupal-logo1 I am really enjoying using Drupal 6.2. There are a lot of productivity gains for administrators now we are starting to get the hang of it. We have done 5 sites now.

Some of the cool features I have plugged into this site include the Views module, giving you the nice lists of data – like the Excel Posts, GeekGirl articles and Back To Basics Articles. By the way stay tuned for some more of these coming soon. There is also a translation feature provided by the Microsoft Live Team. Simply select your language from the drop down list and click the arrow to go and the site will split into two with English on the left and the other language on the right. I would really love some feedback from our foreign readers on this one.

Thanks for reading.

All My Books software for Free

Just catching up on my reading and linking of good stuff.

If you get into this one immediately you can score some free software. Giveaway of the day is giving away a free copy of All My Books, an electronic library organisation application from Bolide Software. Here's the blurb:

amb_logo Organize your collection of paper books into an electronic library. Track loaners and locate every book in just seconds.
Add books easily without typing full details: All My Books gets information about the book from the Internet automatically.

Group and browse your collection of books by title, author or publisher, or run a quick search by any field. You can even define your own fields to label the books, such as comments or memos, and search them later.

What use would be an electronic book organizer if you had to spend hours to catalogue your entire collection?
