Spy Journal 3.0 Filtering the web for you

I finally got around to building a new banner for my website.

Spy Journal 1.0 didn't have a banner - except for orange and text.

Spy Journal 2.0 had customised banners for each of the personal, tech, excel and blog websites. Actually they were the same banner but some CSS allowed different colours to show as a margin on each banner.

So yesterday I used some photoshop skillz and put together the banner thats here now. Do you like it? Is it an improvement on previous ones? Let me know what you think.

I have two tickets to the cricket to give away - for free.

Ok there are a couple of catches.

First you would need to be able to be in Brisbane on the 3rd February 2008 for the match - and probably before that to collect the tickets from me.

Second, I will give them to the first person who can correctly respond in the comments below with the text from my very first post under the name of Jethro and SpyJournal Blog back on 23 November 2003.

To clarify - conditions 1 and 2 will apply.

I posted yesterday about how to make a DVD library work in Vista Media Centre.

I followed Max's instructions, and it didn't work. I could not understand why. I had done everything he said - or I thought I had.

After reading through all the comments on his post I found this little trick on another website. When you add a folder for the DVD library you don't do it in the normal settings Library, add a watch folder area. Instead you go into the DVD library and right click anywhere in the screen and add the watch folder there. Bingo - it worked immediately.

Now I am busy re ripping my DVD collection as DVD format (not ISO) and the media centre picks them up as fast as they are pasted in.. The DVD's I only have as ISO's I can mount in Daemon Tools and then use the DVDFab HD Decryptor software to rip. Awesome!

Serbian 20-year-old Novak Djokovic marched into a semifinal against Federer confident and took him down 3-0. I only saw the last 2 points, having turned on the telly expecting to see a good match - it was over almost immediately!
