Spy Journal 3.0 Filtering the web for you

I have been using Live Mesh now for several weeks and I cannot now do without it. It is an amazing tool and not just for developers. This is a product that everybody should be using. It is simply awesome. Here's why:

• Its free. Yup – free. as in it doesn't cost anything, and effectively it gives you 8gb of online backup. Free. Did you get that. Free.
• It synchronises rapidly. I am synchronising one development folder between my virtual machine running XP and Office 2003 and my main machine which is running vista and office 2007. Sure I could be using a network folder, but I need external access to this folder also. So live mesh synchronises the two folders effortlessly and within seconds.
• You can backup your personal folders – My documents etc, and access them anywhere – i mean anywhere there is a net connection. Changes you make online are synchronised back to your desktop. Wow!
• Did I mention it was free?
• You can invite others to share. Thus you can collaborate on shared projects, give clients access to finished work or work in progress, share pictures, files etc with family and friends.
• You can add multiple devices. This means you can synchronise your music collection with your laptop and your pc and mobile device, synchronise your my documents with your laptop, your work machine and your home machine, your utilities folder with your machine and your clients machine etc.
• And its free.

Protection you know
