Philipp Kohlschreiber from Germany is playing the underdog game of his life. The 29th seed is arguably beating Andy Roddick, the 6th seed. I am watching one of the best underdog games I have ever seen. I think Roddick severely underestimated his rival, based on his past experience of thrashing him. However Kohlschreiber doesn't seem to know the meaning of ranking. He has lead Roddick all the way, sets, breaks, shotmaking, and has now got to a 5th set.
Roddick has lifted his game big time and is now fighting hard. This is great tennis!
Did a lot of running today - ran 2 kms in 12 minutes on the treadmill as a warm up and then about another 4-5km or so in jogging interspersed with short sprints. (more sprinting than jogging!) Corey was tough on us but its all good!
Jude and I watched The Terminal tonight - really funny movie. I was crying with laughter at the romantic dinner scene.
I am settling into my media room for 7 odd hours of V8 Supercar racing.
All the details are on the www.v8supercar.com.au website.
This race is like my birthday present from Australia. I have watched this race every year since about 1985 or so with only a couple of exceptions.
The race is about to start. I have live details of placings & track positions on my tablet & am blogging this also. Wired & ready to go!
