Yesterday I picked up three of the Mainland Premium Reserve label cheeses.
The Havarti is very creamy and very yummy. Jadeen liked this cheese best. I think I did too. It didn’t cut very well, being very rubbery but it had an awesome smooth creamy taste and texture.
The Edam was a little disappointing. I suppose if you ate it on its own it would be nice, but when compared to the other 2 cheeses we tried yesterday it was very non assuming and quite bland. It cut well and tasted very mild.
The Cheddar Masters Epicure has been aged for 36 months. It was quite sharp but nowhere near as sharp as a tasty cheese. It cut very well and made for good slices in a sandwich.
There are some more cheeses in this range which we will try another time.
Here are some gratuitous food enjoyment photos from lunch yesterday!

Wow! Nice post! I had fun reading your reviews. I also love Havarti. Seems like the kids enjoyed the cheese treat a lot!
